I had to go buy attachments for it to work with a hose. I’ll draw water from it with a battery operated pressure gun which has worked for me for years with my other water collection barrel. Found the attachments at the hardware store and it all fits together great! I have it set up to piping which runs from a well on my cellar; filled up nicely.
